Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland is a model and actress. Alison Doody made her film debut as a Bond model on the set of A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she appeared as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody portrayed Nazi sympathetic archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan Donnevan is in A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) were other characters. A photographer approached Doody. Doody began to model that eventually led to an industry-related career in modelling. Doody was very strict about not doing glamorous or sexually explicit work. Doody was an actress in silent films in a 1987 adaptation to The Secret Garden, playing Archibald Craven's dream wife Lilias. The Storyteller's episode Sapsorrow was her first lead role. The episode aired in 1988 alongside John Hurt, Dawn France as well as Jennifer Saunders. The actress acted alongside Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) before taking possibly her most famous role to date in the role of Austrian Nazi-sympathiser and archaeologist The Dr. Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in which she starred alongside Harrison Ford. Doody then relocated to Hollywood. The actress later became Flannery her agent, as well as girlfriend for Major League II.
