Amy Carlson

 Amy Lynn Carlson (born July 7th, 1968) is an American actress best known for her roles as Linda Reagan in the CBS police procedural Blue Bloods, as Alex Taylor on the NBC drama Third Watch, and Josie Watts in the NBC daytime soap show Another World.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Carlson was born in Elmhurst located in DuPage County Illinoisnear Chicago, and was raised in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, the daughter of schoolteacher parents, Barbara Jane (Hultman) and Robert Eugene Carlson. She is of Swedish origin and has roots in Smaland.



 



 Career



 1986-1992: Early career and college



 She first made it to Hollywood as a background actress in the film Lucas which starred Charlie Sheen and Corey Haim. She then followed her elder sister Betsy, who went to Knox College in Galesburg.

   Catherine Jane Ford was born on December 5, 1969. She is an English actor and comedian. Tate has been nominated seven times in the BAFTAs and an International Emmy Award, and numerous other accolades for her work in BBC sketch comedy show The Catherine Tate Show (2004)-2007.
